The Project Brief

The Tensor SSVM app works with Tensor’s SSM system & allows businesses to run an unmanned reception system. Using the app, visitors can find their appointments using their name or barcode/QR codes, fill in forms and take a photograph of themselves for business visitor records, amongst other features.

The SSVM app is fast, user-friendly and GDPR friendly. Perfect for businesses who need to manage appointments and visitors and keep a full record of comings and goings with Tensor’s complete visitor management solution.

The Tensor Self-Service Visitor Management App (“Tensor SSVM”) configures compatible Android touchscreen devices to work as self-service kiosks for Visitor Registration and Management. Enabling enhanced security with Facial Recognition support, it prompts visitors to Check In or Out against a pre-planned appointment or book an ad hoc one, while in the same time notifying their hosts and automatically enrolling the visitor onto the organization’s visitor management system.

The SSVM app has many different features, and we have taken full advantage of cameras where necessary. In order to allow smooth & fast appointment searching, site visitors are able to scan a barcode/QR code which will then look up their appointment.

The app also uses a camera to take a photograph of the visitor and update their visitor record in your company database. The majority of features within the app are customisable, so these can be disabled if not required.
